Overview

In Objecteering, the IDL generation work product provides the commands used to generate code.

IDL generation work products are created in packages.

Figure 12 shows the IDL generation work product dialog box.

Key:

· "Name": This field indicates the name of the generation work product. This name appears in the explorer.

· "Generation path": This field indicates the directory where the IDL file will be generated.

· "Generation file": This field indicates the name of the generated file. The ".idl" extension is automatically added.
