· IDL generation work product: Object that can be created on a package and that provides access to Objecteering CORBA Designer code generation, visualization, edition and compilation features.

· External edition: Operation that allows notes to be entered using an editor other than the default Objecteering text editor. The text entered between pre-positioned markers is re-incorporated into the Objecteering repository once editing is completed.
