Creating an IDL generation work product

The next step in our quick tour is to create an IDL generation work product for the "ClimateControlDistributed" package (as shown in Figure 3).

Steps:

1. Select the "ClimateControlDistributed" package in the explorer.

2. Click on the "Create an IDL generation work product" icon.

3. Click on "OK" to confirm the information that automatically appears in the "IDL product" dialog box.

The new IDL generation work product then appears inside the "ClimateControlDistributed" package in the explorer.
