Call operation actions

A call operation action invokes an operation on an object.

The "Call operation action" dialog box contains four tabs - "Properties", "Notes", "Tagged values" and "Stereotypes". For information on these standard dialog box tabs, please see "Standard dialog box tabs".

The "Properties" tab of the "Call operation action" dialog box is used to enter and modify values for a call operation action.

Key:

· "Name": This is the name of the call operation action or the name of the called operation when it is associated.

· "Is synchronous": If true, this specifies whether the caller waits for completion of the invoked behaviour or proceeds immediately and does not expect a return value.

· "Called operation ": This specifies the operation that will be invoked.
