Input pins
An input pin receives values from other actions through object flows.
The "Input pin" dialog box contains four tabs - "Properties", "Notes", "Tagged values" and "Stereotypes". For information on these standard dialog box tabs, please see "Standard dialog box tabs".

The "Properties" tab of the "Input pin" dialog box is used to enter and modify values for an input pin.

Key:
· "Name": This is the name of the input pin or the name of its type or of the represented element or of the matched parameter if any.
· "Maximum cardinality": This indicates whether the input pin is a set and specifies its upper limit value.
· "Is expansion": This indicates whether or not the pin is an expansion node.
· "Is self": This indicates that the input pin represents the current object.
· "Is control node": This indicates that the pin should be handled as a control node.
· "Typed by": This specifies the type of the pin. If this field is defined, the "Represents" field cannot be defined.
· "Represents": This specifies the element represented by the pin. If this field is defined, the "Typed by" field cannot be defined.
· "Matched parameter": This specifies the parameter represented by the pin.
· "State": This specifies the expected state of the element.
