Event based gateways
An
"EventBasedGateway" is used when the process divides into two or more
flows. The flows leaving an "EventBasedGateway"
are "Flows" linked to "IntermediaryEvents".
The "EventBasedGateway"
dialog box contains two tabs: "Common" and "Parameter".

The
"Common" tab of the "EventBasedGateway" dialog box is used
to enter general information relative to an "EventBasedGateway".

Key:

"Name": This field
represents the name of the gateway.

"XOR Type": This
field represents the type of condition managed by the gateway. It can have one
of the following values:
o Data
o Event
·
"Instantiate": This
field is a boolean indicating whether or not the gateway can be considered to
be an instantiation mechanism.
