Communication interactions

A communication interaction is a unit of behavior that focuses on the observable exchange of information between communication model elements.

 

The "Communication interaction" dialog box contains four tabs - "Properties", "Notes", "Tagged values" and "Stereotypes".  For information on these standard dialog box tabs, please see "Standard dialog box tabs".

The "Properties" tab of the "Communication interaction" dialog box is used to enter values for a communication interaction.

Key:

·         "Name": This indicates the name of the communication interaction.  This name must be unique in the model.

·         "Is reentrant": This indicates that the object whose behavior is described by this communication interaction can be reentrant.
