Communication nodes

A communication node represents an entity in a communication diagram. It may represent an instance.

The "Communication node" dialog box contains four tabs - "Properties", "Notes", "Tagged values" and "Stereotypes". For information on these standard dialog box tabs, please see "Standard dialog box tabs".

The "Properties" tab of the "Communication node" dialog box is used to enter values for a communication node.

Key:

· "Name": This indicates the name of the communication node. This name must be unique in the model.

· "Selector": If the element defined in the "Represented object" field has multiple values, then this specifies the specific part therein.

· "Represented object": This is the instance represented by the communication node.
