Glossary

 

·         Dialog box: Window in which model elements are defined.

·         Element: Model element the user can display, handle or enter (for example, class, attribute, note, ...).

·         Note: Free text, characterized by its type and content.  This text completes the attached element for documentation and programming purposes.

·         Property: Value that describes an element’s characteristics and that will have an effect on the model.

·         Stereotype: A means of extending model element semantics, allowing you to adapt UML to your specific modeling needs.

·         Tagged value: Model annotation in the form of a "{tag}".  It completes the properties and provides additional information that will be used by the Objecteering UML MDACs.
