Lifeline

A lifeline represents an individual participant in an interaction. A lifeline can only represent one interacting entity.

 

The "Lifeline" dialog box contains four tabs - "Properties", "Notes", "Tagged values" and "Stereotypes".  For information on these standard dialog box tabs, please see "Standard dialog box tabs".

The "Properties" tab of the "Lifeline" dialog box is used to define values for a lifeline.

Key:

·         "Name": This is the name of the lifeline.

·         "Selector": If the element defined in the "Represented object" field has multiple values, then this specifies the specific part therein.

·         "Represented object": This is the instance that the lifeline represents.
