SOA Solution contents

SOA Solution comes as a module.  This module is a ".jmdac" file that is located in the "mdastore/soa" directory of your Objecteering installation.

SOA Solution includes:

· This user guide.

· A project type for SOA modelisation.

· A module used to model SOA modelisation.

Selecting an SOA Solution project type

When you start up Objecteering, click on "File / New". A dialog box then appears, in which you can enter the name and location of your new project and select its type (see below).

Select the following project type:

· SOA: Used to model service-oriented logical architectures.

Deploying the SOA Solution module

You can also deploy the SOA Solution module in an existing project.

To select and deploy the SOA Solution module in an open Objecteering project, run the "Tools/Deploy an MDAC" command and then select the SOA_Solution module (see below).
