Stand alone installation

Information required for stand alone installation

Before starting the stand alone installation procedure, make sure you have the following information at your disposal:

· your user name

· your company name

· the start menu icon folder where Objecteering icons will be added

· the installation directory where Objecteering will be installed

Note: If you are reinstalling using the same site number (which figures in the license file), you must copy the contents of your former "site" directory into the new installation directory.

License for stand alone installation

When Objecteering is installed in stand alone mode, the associated license file is not requested during the installation procedure, but will be required the first time Objecteering is run.

A stand alone license file is node-locked, meaning that it is specific to your workstation and cannot be used on a different machine.

To obtain a valid Objecteering license file, please contact your Objecteering Software account manager or visit our website at www.objecteering.com.

Stand alone installation procedure

To install Objecteering in stand alone mode, simply insert the Objecteering CD-ROM, launch "Objecteering6_P06xxx_WIN.exe", and then let yourself be guided by the installation wizard.
