Overview of Objecteering Java Developer
Introduction
Welcome to
the Objecteering Java Developer user guide!
Objecteering
Java Developer generates
a Java application from an Objecteering model, and also manages the generation
of its documentation.
Objecteering
Java Developer's integrated design patterns are used to automate the designed model.
During the
modeling phase, a reverse feature is provided to enable you to use classes
in existing libraries, especially the JDK (Java Development Kit).
Java Developer functions
Objecteering
Java Developer provides five main features:
·
Generation of Java documentation
·
Reverse of existing libraries
·
Dynamic Java design patterns
Powerful means of parameterization are also provided through:
·
Objecteering Java Developer parameters
· Generation templates provided by MDA Modeler
·
Parameterization of basic types and accessors
Adapting to your development environment
Objecteering Java Developer provides two functioning modes, to ensure consistency at all times between the model built in Objecteering and the code produced:
· The model driven mode generates the entire Java application from the model and retrieves the code inserted using markers.
· The round trip mode combines code generation and reverse operations, retrieves the freely typed code and creates modeling elements when needed.
Objecteering can be coupled to other integration development environments, which can facilitate application development.
