Overview of the Java Developer quick tour

By following an example of a project, you are now going to discover step by step the different features of Objecteering Java Developer.

The example illustrated is a simple bank account application, extracted from "Learn Java Now", by Stephen R.Davis, MicrosoftPress.

Initializing the project

A First Steps project for Java is delivered with Objecteering Java Developer.

To use it, carry out the following steps:

· Create a project and name it "First steps".

· Deploy Objecteering Java Developer in your project.

· Continue by carrying out the steps shown in Figure 11.

Steps:

1. In the explorer, right-click on the "First steps" package to open the context menu.

2. Run the "MDACs/Java Developer/Import the first steps project..." command. The "First Steps import" selection window then appears.

3. In this "First Steps import" window, select the Java first steps project, and click on "OK".
