General remarks

This First Steps project is designed to help you learn how to use the different patterns provided by Objecteering Java Developer.

Initializing the project

A First Steps project for Java patterns is delivered with Objecteering Java Developer.

To use it, carry out the following steps:

· Create a project and name it "First steps".

· Deploy Objecteering Java Developer in your project.

· Continue by carrying out the steps shown in Figure 32.

Steps:

1. In the explorer, right-click on the "First steps" package to open the context menu.

2. Run the "Java Developer/Import the first steps project" command. The "First Steps import" selection window then appears.

3. In this "First Steps import" window, select the first steps project which interests you, in this case, the Java patterns first steps project, and click on "OK".
