Importing patterns

Importing a pattern

To import a pattern, carry out the steps:

1. Position yourself in the “Patterns” folder and click on the button defined in the “MDA” tab of the auxiliary window. The “Open” window then appears.

2. In this window, select the pattern definition directory (which contains a set of “.ext” Objecteering/UML files).

3. Click on the “OK” button to launch the import operation.

The imported pattern is stored in the “Patterns” folder. A class diagram representing the specification of the imported pattern is automatically created and associated.
