Checking and compiling an MDA component

Checking an MDA component

Before packaging your newly created J MDA component, you can first check its consistency. To do this, select the “JavaGenerator” J MDA component in the explorer and click on the  icon located in the “MDA” tab of the auxiliary window.

Note:      If you do not run a check on your MDA component, a check will be automatically run when the compilation operation is launched.

If all the previous steps have been carried out, no errors should be detected, and the following window will appear (Figure 24).

Compiling an MDA component

Once your J MDA component has been modeled and checked, the next step is to compile it. Compilation consists of creating the set of elements which make up the J MDA component.

To compile the “JavaGenerator” J MDA component, select it in the explorer and click on the  icon located in the “MDA” tab of the auxiliary window.

Once the J MDA component has been compiled, it can immediately be used in a test project.
