Eclipse perspectives and views
In Eclipse, a
perspective determines exactly what you see in the model and in the user
interface (views, actions, …). Each
perspective presents an environment that is tailored to a specific development
task, providing you with a perfectly adapted workspace.
The principle of
perspectives means that you can switch from one application to another within
Eclipse.
After
installation of the Objecteering for Eclipse plug-in, Objecteering provides its
own perspective that you can display simply by clicking on the associated tab (as
shown below). The Objecteering
perspective is made up of a number of views corresponding to the different
windows available in the Objecteering 6.1 workspace. For more information, please see “The
Objecteering perspective in Eclipse”.
Note: The Objecteering perspective
does not change the way in which you work (or start a project) within Eclipse.
