Generating Java code from your model

Once the Java Developer MDA component has been deployed in your Objecteering model, and your model linked to a directory where Java source code will be generated and/or reversed, you can now proceed with Java code generation.

Java code is automatically generated when a Java-relevant modification is made to the model. However, you can also manually launch Java code generation by carrying out the following steps:

1. In your model, select the package or class that must be generated.

2. In the “Model Explorer” view, right click to open the context menu and then run the “MDACs/Java Developer/Generate” command or use the generation button in the "Java" tab of the auxiliary window.
