Modifying elements in Objecteering dialog boxes

Every model element featuring in Objecteering has a dedicated dialog box, through which it can be modified. The information that can be entered and/or modified in a dialog box varies according to the type of element selected, but most contain the same four basic tabs, as shown below.

Key:

· The "Properties" tab provides information on the element's properties (its name, type, visibility, ...).

· The "Notes" tab is used to manage existing notes and enter new ones.

· The "Tagged values" tab is used to manage existing tagged values and enter new ones. You can also manage tagged value parameters in this tab.

· The "Stereotypes" tab is used to manage existing stereotypes and enter new ones.

Accessing Objecteering dialog boxes

To open these dedicated dialog boxes, you can:

· double-click on the element in the explorer, the auxiliary window or a diagram in the work view window

· right-click on the element in the explorer, the auxiliary window or a diagram in the work view window and run the "Edit" command from the context menu

Once you have made the necessary modifications in the dialog box, simply click on "OK" to validate your modifications and close the dialog box.
