The menu bar and the toolbar

The "File" menu

Command	Icon	Use
New		create a new project.
Open		open an existing project.
Save		carry out a general save of the current project.
Save as project template		save the project as a project template that can be reused. Subsequent projects created using the template will contain the MDACs deployed and configured in the original project.
Close	none	close the current project without closing Objecteering Modeler.
Import		import model components from other projects.
Exit	none	exit Objecteering Modeler.

The "Edit" menu

Command	Icon	Use
Undo		cancel the last action.
Redo		redo the last action.
Copy		store the selected element in the clipboard.
Cut		destroy and store the selected element in the clipboard.
Paste		create the element stored in the clipboard at the selected position.
Move		move the selected element to a new location.
Search		search for an element in your model, diagrams or textual elements.

The "View" menu

Command	Icon	Use
Output window		show or hide the output window.
Explorer		show or hide the explorer.
Auxiliary window		show or hide the auxiliary window.
Fast link editor		show or hide the fast link editor.

The "Tools" Menu

Command	Icon	Use
Deploy an MDAC	none	deploy an MDAC in your project.
Remove an MDAC	none	remove an MDAC previously deployed in your project.
MDAC options		open the MDAC parameter configuration window, in which you can configure the parameters of the MDACs deployed in your project.
Diagram graphic options	none	customize the graphic representation (colors and fonts used, specific properties, ...) of elements in diagrams.

The "Help" menu

Command	Icon	Use
About Objecteering	none	provide general information on your Objecteering Modeler version.
Objecteering help general contents	none	provide access to the table of contents for all the Objecteering user guides.
Tip of the day		provide access to a daily tip on how to get the most out of Objecteering.
Tutorials		provide access to a set of tutorials specially designed to help you get started with Objecteering.
User guides	none	open the list of available Objecteering user guides.

The Objecteering toolbar

The Objecteering toolbar features the following icons:

· : This opens the window used to create a new project.

· : This opens the window used to open an existing project.

· : This opens the window used to search for an element in your model, diagrams or textual elements.

· : This copies the selected element to the clipboard.

· : This copies the selected element to the clipboard and then destroys it.

· : This pastes the element copied to the clipboard in the selected element.

· : This copies the selected element to the clipboard and then moves it to the desired new location.

· : This undoes the last action.

· : This redoes the last action.

· : This opens the MDAC parameter configuration window, in which you can configure the parameters of the MDACs deployed in your project.

· : This is the fast search entry field, where you can enter a name or a Boost regular expression to search for.

· : This opens the "Macro commands" window, through which you can run, modify, create or delete Objecteering macros.
