Removing model components

The removal of a model component removes both the model component itself and the model elements it contains, which appear in gray in the explorer.

If you no longer wish to use a model component, you can remove it from your project, by running the "Remove model component" command on the model component in question.

Removing a model component from a project

Steps:

1. Right-click on the model component you want to remove, to open the context menu.

2. Run the "MDACs/Model components/Remove model component" command.

A confirmation window then appears, asking you if you really want to remove the selected model component from your project. Click on the "OK" button to confirm.

The model component is then removed from your project, along with the model elements it added.
