Deploying property sets
Introduction
After creating properties sets
containing various properties in the
tab of the explorer, you can now implement
them on your Scope structuring elements (requirement containers, dictionaries,
goal containers and business rule containers) and Scope elements (requirements,
terms, goals and business rules).
To implement a new property set, follow the steps shown in the screenshot below (this figure shows the deployment of the "Financial" property set created in the previous section of this chapter).

Implementing a new property set
Steps:
1. In the explorer, select the element on which you wish to implement the new property set. The element's dedicated edition window then appears.
2. In the "Type" field of this window, click on the arrow on the right-hand side to display the scrolling list, and select the property set you wish to implement.
3. The list of properties and their default values then appears on the right-hand side of the window.
4. Click on "OK" to confirm.
The result of this operation is shown below.

The result of the implementation of a property set
As shown above, the properties contained within the new property set are now available on the requirements contained within the "Financial requirements" requirement container.
Note: If a parent requirement container, dictionary, goal container or business rule container is not typed, its children can be of different types.
