Configuring Objecteering Scope DOORS

 

To configure Objecteering Scope DOORS, follow the steps shown below.

 

The "Modifying configuration" window

 

Steps:

1.      Click on the  icon in the Objecteering toolbar.

2.      Expand the Scope DOORS parameter set list, by clicking on the "+" sign next to the relevant item.

3.      From the displayed list, choose "General", which is the only parameter set you'll need to configure. The "XML generation" parameter set does not need configuring.

 

 

The "General" parameter set

 

The parameter

is used to ...

DOORS executable file path

define the path to the DOORS executable. We'll use the following as an example of an installation directory:
C://QSS/DOORS/bin/Doors.
The executable file usually lies in the \bin directory. In our example, the executable file path will then be:
C://QSS/DOORS/bin/Doors.exe

DOORS executable options

enter DOORS options if needed.

User name

define the DOORS user's name.

User password

define the DOORS user's password.

DOORS root item full path for the link

indicate the directory of your DOORS installation tree structure, into which you want your Scope element to be exported.
This is a major part as far as exporting towards DOORS is concerned.

DOORS database path or port@server (optional)

indicate the DOORS database to and from which you will export and import Scope elements.

DOORS stack size

indicate the acceptable size of the DOORS stack.  By default, this is set to 10000.

Delete temporary files after import/export

indicate whether or not you want to delete the temporary files after import/export.

Import property sets and properties

indicate whether or not you want to import properties and properties sets.
