Executing the alter table file

Where attributes have been annotated using the {alterTable} tagged value, Objecteering SQL Designer generates, in addition to the normal SQL files, a file named:

unit_name_alter.sql

To execute this file, the "Execute alter table file" command is used (as shown in Figure 77).

Steps:

1. Right-click on the generation work product of the "MPD_Library" package.

2. Select the "MDACs/SQL Designer/Execute ALTER TABLE file" commands from the context menu which appears.
