Functions

Using the Objecteering MultiUser MDAC, it is possible to:

· Check-in and/or check-out a model element

· Undo check-out

· Update the Objecteering model

· Run a Diff-Merge operation with another model

Saving/Restoring

The use of the Objecteering Multi-user MDAC does not replace the action of backing up directories and files. In the case of the restoration of files following a system problem, you should be careful regarding ".lock" files present in the "Locks" directory after restoration. It is, therefore, imperative that:

· all users unselect the Multi-user MDAC and quit the editing of their model

· all ".lock", ".sync", ".read" and ".write" files and all sub-directories of the "Locks" directory, be destroyed after the restoration of the files

All users can then restart work on the restored version, by selecting the Multi-user MDAC and defining the user name and the multi-user directory.
